Well, I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up that crazy blogging pace of one blog post a day! It was a really good run though 😉 A nasty cold stopped me in my tracks this weekend. I didn’t get much of anything completed. But back at it today! Hoping you all had a wonderful Easter holiday yesterday. I was cooped up in bed, super sick. I decided I better not expose all my family members to this junk. It was kind of lonely, but I am on the mend today. It was the right decision! First up this week, Molly and Connor’s Regis Chapel and Colorado National Golf Club wedding.
Photographed alongside Abigail Oxford Photography. This was my first time working with Abby, and we had a lot of fun together. Since this wedding, she assisted me at my first wedding of the 2019 season. To see that wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines, click HERE. I look forward to hopefully working together again in the future. We have sons almost exactly one year apart. So it’s fun to trade stories about our little cuties!
Some of my favorite parts of Molly and Connor’s wedding was when the groom surprised everyone and played the bagpipes during the ceremony. That was a first for me…and it was really awesome to witness! I also loved their choreographed first dance. It was both traditional and funky, as the music switched over to some pop and hip hop tracks 🙂 Molly and Connor totally lucked out with a gorgeous day! It had been a week full of 100° temps, and it was significantly cooler this day (thankfully!). And the day ended with a beautifully colorful sunset, overlooking the flatirons of Boulder.
A bagpiping groom…how cool is that?!
And we were off to their Colorado National Golf Club wedding reception! I didn’t even know that this spot existed. It was a great location, and I definitely hope to photograph here again 🙂
