Jocy – Class of 2020 | Highlands Ranch Senior Pictures | Highlands Ranch Mansion

Oh how I loved this session! Jocy really wanted a fairytale vibe for her senior photos. We went back and forth on locations, trying to find the right fit. Then I thought about the gorgeous Highlands Ranch Mansion. I have shot a few weddings there, and it’s amazing! We weren’t allowed to shoot indoors, but the outside was still a picture perfect location for her Highlands Ranch senior pictures. Jocy is a dancer and entertainer, so needless to say she was so natural in front of the camera. We got endless amounts of variety because Jocy was like a little model…pose, shutter click, click, new pose, click, click lol!

And can we talk about Jocy’s style?! What a fashionista!! I loved anticipating what her next outfit was going to look like 😉 Since she really wanted the fairytale, castle themed images, we were sure to get a ton of shots in her prom dress. It was a super cute, sparkly, bubblegum pink dress, that looked wonderful against her tan skin. The dress also twirled perfectly. I mean, you just have to twirl in a dress like that, right?! Jocy also wore a houndstooth jacket and hot pink heels, a cute white dress, a cozy fall poncho, complete with a wool hat. She finished the session in a stylish fringe skirt, black faux fur, and black hat. Each outfit looked great on her, and her hair and make-up were truly on point.

I definitely shouldn’t only focus on looks though, because Jocy was super sweet and bubbly too! She made my job such a joy during this awesomely fun evening 🙂 I just know her future will be full of amazing things. That vivacious personality is most definitely taking her places!

I really like all of the photos we captured, but this one has got to be a favorite from Jocy’s Highlands Ranch senior pictures!

Thank you oh so much Jocy! What a memorable shoot this was. As I have said to my other class of 2020 clients, I sure hope finishing high school during a pandemic did not ruin your overall high school experience! I really hope you are able to remember all of the wonderful and happy memories you did have 🙂 Happy 2021 sweet lady, and cheers to (hopefully) better days ahead!
