Happy Monday friends! First of several blog posts this week is Jessica and Dave’s Mountain View Ranch Wedgewood wedding. I absolutely adored their fall engagement pictures in Breckenridge, so I knew their wedding would be equally amazing. If you missed those photos, check them out HERE. This was one of the few 2020 weddings that didn’t feel super affected by covid. They still had a decent guest count, there was still a packed dance floor, and masks were only required in the buffet line. It’s always nice to have these glimpses of normalcy during these past couple years.
Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado is a really great location! I have shot a few other weddings here. This was the first time, however, at the other ceremony site. Which until this day I hadn’t even realized existed. Both ceremony and reception sites are equally as great…you cannot go wrong!
Jessica and Dave’s wedding absolutely delivered on fun! Some of my favorite parts of their day were custom wedding date sunglasses favors, the energetic, packed dance floor, and the sweet first look between Jessica and her bridesmaids. Finally, my absolute favorite part of the day was the romantic, beautiful sunset portraits. There was a moose out on the water, and it just made for some amazing shots! We saw some deer as well. The wildlife was sure enjoying this gorgeous Colorado summer evening as well.

On the blog next, my first of several “cap and gown” senior sessions! These have definitely been a growing trend since the pandemic. I think it’s a great way to help these seniors feel special. Especially for those that had to miss their graduations, proms, and all of those important high school milestones.
