Meet Karen and Randall! A sweet, easy-going couple that I had the pleasure of working with to capture their Echo Lake engagement photos. When we were discussing locations for their session, they suggested Echo Lake. This location was special to them and I am always up for visiting new locations. And what a spectacular location it is! I have been back since, and continue to suggest it to other clients. We also really lucked out with a beautiful and sunny winter day for their photo shoot. It was so fun walking out on the frozen lake, and wow was there a lot of snow in certain spots. I think we sank knee deep on more than one occasion. They brought a custom flask, and shared in a celebratory drink, which helped them warm up a little bit.

Karen and Randall were another of my couples affected by covid. They still proceeded with their wedding at the beautiful Cielo at Castle Pines. They downsized to a small guest list, with just their family and closest loved ones. It was still an amazing celebration of love. It felt extremely intimate and they were able to spend one-on-one time with each and every guest. Looking forward to sharing those images with you soon as well!

This is definitely one of my favorites from their Echo Lake engagement photos. Just love that sun, snow and smiles!

I really love the joy in this “snow confetti” image too. Woo hoo…we are getting married!!

Karen and Randall have had a busy couple years! Engaged, married, bought a house with some land where they are raising chickens, and they recently welcomed their baby girl. So they will be gracing the blog again. I always love working with wedding clients for the other important milestones in their lives. Coming to the blog tomorrow, Nevin’s dance and urban Boulder senior pictures. She is a beautiful ballerina, and had one of my favorite senior images of 2020!
