Here is another session I have been so excited to share. Nevin is also a former Dance Dimensions Starbound company dancer, like yours truly! She had already done another senior session in a nature setting, while she and her family were traveling out-of-state. They decided they also wanted a session in Colorado, that was totally different. We decided on capturing the photos in an urban, city setting this time. She and her mom also wanted to incorporate some of her dancing. I was thrilled! You know how much I love working with other dancers. For these Boulder dancer senior photos we met up near the Pearl Street Mall.
We started at the ever popular “colorful brick wall” near the Hotel Boulderado. We walked a ton, stopping at a bunch of my favorite urban Boulder locations and a truly fun time. I really liked the outfits Nevin chose for her session. She started it out in olive green shorts and a baby blue top. This was an unexpected color combination. Yet it totally worked…especially against that colorful brick. She also wore some trendy ripped jeans and a feminine lace top. As well as a simple off white tie top. She rocked them all! But I would say the real magic happened when those pointe shoes were on. The beauty and delicateness of light pink pointe shoes is something I just adore!
This image below is definitely one of my favorites for the class of 2021! Nevin is a stunning ballerina and I am thrilled with how these Boulder dancer senior photos turned out.
Wow, that flexibility is impressive…and in jeans nonetheless!
Thanks again Nevin, for allowing me to capture these photos for you. I hope post-high school life is treating you well. Hopefully you are continuing on your dance journey. And if not, hopefully you have found new hobbies or activities that bring you great joy during this season of life! Wishing for our paths to cross again someday.
