Truc and Edgar were visiting Southern Colorado from out-of-state and really wanted to hire Plum Pretty Photography for a photo shoot. I, however, was already booked that whole weekend with other shoots. I proposed the idea of sending an associate photographer along to do the session. An associate photographer is someone that represents my company and photographs the session or wedding on my behalf. Then I do the editing to keep the photos consistent with the work you see on my website. My associate Heather was available, and this was a bucket list photography location for her. So win win! She made the trek down south and captured these beautiful Colorado sand dunes engagement photos. Meanwhile, I was photographing Hailey’s senior session..which I shared yesterday!
I sure wish I had an opportunity to meet Truc and Edgar in person. Heather said they were awesome, and so sweet! I could tell how great their connection was too while editing the photos. They were thrilled with the end result of these photos…and so was I! Heather got so much variety, which is always my goal as well. They got loads of different poses and expressions. As well as many candid shots. Walking all over the dunes, dancing, lifting, laying in the sand, so much great stuff 🙂
This is definitely one of my favorites from Truc and Edgar’s Colorado sand dunes engagement photos!
Oh how I love these ultra wide shots! It really shows off this immense and epic landscape.
Thanks again Truc, Edgar and Heather! So glad we made this shoot happen, and everything turned out so beautiful. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is defintiely an epic and jaw-dropping location. Hopefully you will enjoy and treasure these images for years to come. On the blog next, Rylee’s Mead senior photos. Wow, did we get a lot of photos on this one! 4 locations, and something like 9 outfits. Whew was it a fun one!! Have a great week, friends.
