Happy Wednesday friends! Today on the blog, Lexi and Nick’s Boulder Colorado engagement pictures. I almost spaced blogging these ones…oops! Next on my list was going to be their wedding photos from Della Terra Mountain Chateau. When I went to search through my blog for their engagement session, it wasn’t there. Even more behind here on the blog than I thought. Oy…I just wish I could whip out 100 posts in a day and magically be caught up already LOL!
Anyway, back to this sweet couple. Lexi is the sister of one of my long time clients and friends. When she reached out for her wedding photography, we immediately hit it off. She is so sweet and complimentary to me and my work. Lexi and Nick were very easy-going, but never boring. Nick’s got a quirky sense of humor, and goofy in a very subtle way. They have an absolute blast together! We met at Chautauqua Park in Boulder on a cloudy, but mild spring day. We got a ton of great stuff around Chautauqua with two great casual outfits. Then we headed up Flagstaff Road for some more great couple’s portraits at sunset at Lost Gulch Overlook. And thankfully the sun did make an appearance once we were up there! I had to photoshop numerous people out of the photos, since that’s always such a Boulder hot spot at sunset. Totally worth it though…for these sunny, golden mountaintop shots!
This is one of my favorites from Lexi and Nick’s Boulder Colorado engagement pictures. Love that soft golden light and this adorable couple!
Lexi was such a trooper wearing a dress and high heels. It was not warm out there! Then she got tired of climbing around on these rocks in heels, so she ditched those and went barefoot. Even more of a trooper 😉
You will see a bunch more of Lexi and Nick in the coming weeks. I still have their beautiful Estes Park wedding to share. As well as their newlywed photo session on the beach of Carlsbad, California. I cannot believe February is more than halfway over already! It may be the shortest month, but it is flying by crazy fast. I just need more hours in the day to get more editing and blogging done…and more time to play with my kiddo of course. On the blog next, the lovely Harnisch family’s sunny fall photos in Fort Collins. Have a great day, friends! And if you are in Colorado, be safe and stay warm out there!
For another Chautauqua engagement session that I really loved, check out Brittney & Cory HERE!
