The Harnisch family is one of those families that makes me so grateful for this wonderful job. They are clients turned friends, and it’s always amazing to have them in front of my lens. They made the drive down from Wyoming to Fort Collins for our shoot together. We had already rescheduled this shoot once, and so the fall foliage wasn’t quiet at its peak any longer. This didn’t matter that much to them, they just wanted some updated photos as little Hudson was growing and changing so fast! Although it was a little muddy in spots, we totally lucked out with a gorgeous evening for their Fort Collins family portraits.

I have shot at Riverbend Ponds here and there over the years. It’s a great location, especially during fall! It doesn’t require a photography permit, which is getting more and more rare in Colorado. It has some cool wooden docks, nice, clean ponds, and trees upon trees upon trees! While I had seen photos of cutie Mr. Hudson on social media, I had not seen him in person since his newborn photos. He has grown into such a little character, walking all around, laughing and cuddling with his awesome parents.

This is one of my favorites from the Harnisch’s Fort Collins family portraits. Pretty golden colors, a bit of snow in there, and Hudson’s little toothy grin…love it!

Thank you as always to this wonderful family! It’s been so great to work with you on several occasions now. Engagement photos, wedding photos, an adventure “rock the dress” session in Creede, Colorado. Maternity portraits in Estes Park, then newborn/family photos at your home. And finally, this colorful fall family session. These are some of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of working with, and am eager to hopefully work with them again in the new year. On the blog tomorrow, Paige’s sunrise RMNP senior photos. I have done loads of sessions in RMNP, but this was my first high school senior session in the park 🙂 Come back, and check it out!
