Next up on my blog, Cassie and Kamden’s fall engagement photos in Breckenridge. These two had actually just moved near me in Frederick. But we all decided it would be worth it to drive up to Summit County for some beautiful mountain views and the start of the fall foliage. What a perfect day for their session! We started off at where else…Sapphire Point?! If you follow my work, you will definitely recognize this popular spot. It’s just a great option though. It’s beautiful year round and it doesn’t require a lot of hiking (although I am available for hiking sessions when clients do want that!). Sapphire Point has some variety too with the rock formations, wooden fences, mountains and trees of course.
When clients are willing, I usually also have us head down the road towards Dillon a few miles to the Windy Point Campground entrance. Right on the side of the road there is a great open field with nice views. This has the Dillon Reservoir in the background and more mountain goodness as well! At this location there was also an aspen grove that was just starting to change color. We took advantage of every bit of yellow that we could to get them some colorful fall vibes as well!
Cassie and Kamden were such a sweet and fun couple.
They had a wonderful chemistry together, and I love the images we were able to create together. They selected two outfits for their session. One casual, one a little more dressy…which is what I typically recommend 🙂 They started out casual. Cassie wore jeans and a beige top, she added a cute suede jacket over top here and there. Kamden selected jeans and a nice plaid button down shirt. The second outfit was a little dressier. Can you believe that this cream dress that Cassie wore was actually found by Kamden? How sweet is he to find a pretty dress for his pretty lady?! It had some boho vibes which went really well in the sun-drenched grassy field of Windy Point Campground. Kamden wore a light purple bottom down and jeans for his second outfit. They both looked really nice and I hope that love how these photos turned out, as much as I do!
This is definitely one of my favorites from these engagement photos in Breckenridge. Love they color of the aspen trees starting to change, that dramatic golden hour sky, and this tender moment between Cassie and Kamden!
