My busy season really kicks off this weekend, so I am trying to sneak in a few more blog posts before I have thousands of wedding images to edit. Today I am sharing Maya’s Fort Collins senior pictures. We started her session near the Old Firehouse Alley for some urban senior photos options. This is a fun little area! It’s got plenty of brick walls, benches, ivy walls, and colorful wall murals as well. Maya kept her outfits pretty easy at this location, so we didn’t have to make any major outfit changes. She wore trendy, high-waisted jeans, and a simple white top. This neutral choice was really great because then she didn’t have to worry about clashing with any of the backdrops we selected. She added her letterman jacket over top for a few photos as well.
After some fun and urban shots in downtown Fort Collins, we headed out to Horsetooth Reservoir. The weather had me a little worried. It rained pretty much the entire drive over there. Thankfully it did let up, and we got some really dramatic skies and an epic sunset to end the session with. At Horsetooth Maya had 3 outfits. She started in a short floral dress. Then, a chartreuse green top, white jeans, and combat boots. She ended in some cool, funky light blue pants, and a cropped black top. We got a ton of variety during her session, which is always my goal. Maya, I hope you and your family love and cherish these photos for years to come!
This is one of my favorites from Maya’s session. I love that motion in her dress, the golden light, and those pretty mountain lake views.
Thanks Maya. One more week of high school! How exciting is that 🙂 I hope it was overall a fun and joyful time in your life! Wishing you all the best in your future. On the blog next, the lovely Reed family at Sandstone Ranch. Have a great afternoon all!
