Happy wedding Wednesday! Excited to share Mackenzie and Mark’s Lionscrest Manor wedding portraits on the blog today. I absolutely loved working with this couple! Such kind, gracious, lovely people, and it doesn’t hurt that they look like a couple of wedding models!! If you follow my blog, you know that Lionscrest Manor is one of my favorite venues to work at. I love all of the great variety in photo locations all at this one venue. They are a well oiled machine over there…but it’s not too “cookie cutter” (where every wedding feels the same). I am so happy to be on their preferred vendor list at Lionscrest Manor, and to have numerous opportunities to work there each year.
Some of my favorite parts of Mackenzie and Mark’s wedding were the cute chalkboards the bridal party wrote on. Each bridesmaid (and the flower girl) wrote how long they had known Mackenzie, and how they met her. They all posed with their chalkboards, and the beautiful bride! Super cute! I also really loved their ceremony programs, which included a crossword puzzle for their guests. After we finished sunset photos with Mackenzie and Mark, I had the idea of Mackenzie and her flower girl spinning in their dresses. They both had very “spinnable” dresses LOL! I thought these photos turned out adorable…I hope they will cherish them forever!
Mackenzie and Mark also had an awesome wooden cake holder with their new last name. That was a really nice, personal touch. Finally, their dance party was so much fun and they ended the night running down the stairs with ribbon cannons released all around them. What an awesome day! It truly went off without a hitch.

This forest area isn’t a spot I usually shoot at at Lionscrest Manor. But the light was too good! Plus, it’s always a fun challenge to photograph a venue you have worked at a bunch, in a new and different way 🙂

This is one of my favorites from their Lionscrest Manor wedding portraits. Don’t think I can ever get sick of that picture perfect view!

Mackenzie and Mark, it was such an honor to capture these wedding photos for you. I hope your first year of marriage was absolutely incredible. You guys deserve all the happiness in the world! I truly hope I have the opportunity to work with you both again someday in the future.
