Kylie – Class of 2022 | Loveland Senior Photos | Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park

Happy Friday! Hope you have fun plans for the weekend. Busy, busy around here! Today on the blog, Kylie’s class of 2022 Loveland senior photos. For her session, we met up highway 34 at the Viestenz-Smith mountain park. This was actually my first time shooting at this location. But my son and I had done some exploring a few days prior, so we could find some good spots. I have since been back a few other times. This is a fun location, with a lot of great variety. There are some mountain views, lot of access points to get near the river, open fields and tons of trees. There are also some bridges, tree stump “benches” and even a huge eclectic metal sculpture. Loveland sure loves their sculptures! The Viestenz-Smith mountain park has a rich history. But much of it was destroyed when the Big Thompson River flooded in 2013. The park was renovated for 4 years, and had only (fairly) recently reopened in 2018.

Kylie was a natural in front of the camera. She kept it real easy on me, by only having one outfit for her senior session. She looked beautiful in her ripped white jeans, long sleeve floral top, and those adorable peep toe shoes! We got some really great stuff. Her family was so pleased with the photos, that they actually signed up for my fall mini sessions as well. So I got to have Kylie in front of my camera twice last year! Her brothers probably didn’t love modeling for the camera as much as she did. But everyone was a good sport 🙂

This is definitely one of my favorites of Kylie’s Loveland senior photos. Soft smile, golden grasses, and a stunning subject…love it!

Thank you so much Kylie…I hope you are doing great since high school graduation! It was a true pleasure to capture your senior portraits. It would be wonderful to work with you again someday, for the other major events in your life.
