Today on the blog I am sharing Sarah and Ben’s Colorado fall mountain engagement photos. This was my first time shooting at this location. I had always wanted to though, and it did not disappoint. Especially in fall, because there are so many colorful aspen trees. I have known Sarah and her family since elementary school. We went to the same babysitter as kids. It was so great to reconnect on social media. Then I got to see her in person after about 25 years when capturing her son’s senior photos in 2018.
In 2021, on a beautiful fall evening, I got to see Sarah again. We did a two part photo shoot. First, I captured her other son Blake’s senior portraits, and then engagement photos for Sarah and her fiancé Ben. This was my first time meeting Ben, and they are a great match. They are sweet together, and laugh a lot! They each have two boys, so Sarah is really outnumbered LOL! I will be sharing their summer 2022 Arapahoe Basin wedding here on the blog in the coming months.
I met up with the three of them at Meyer Ranch Park in Jefferson County. This location worked equally well for senior portraits and engagement photos. There were some mountain views, loads of colorful trees with their peek fall foliage, as well as evergreen trees, and some cool rustic fences. I enjoyed shooting here, and hope I will have other opportunities in the future as well. Sarah and Ben kept things simple, with just one outfit. I loved Sarah’s dark green skirt, and tall boots. Ben looked cool and casual in jeans and a gray sweater. Some great neutral, fall outfit choices!
This is one of my favorites from their Colorado fall mountain engagement photos. I love this light, candid moment and joyful expressions!
Thanks again Sarah and Ben! It was such a pleasure capturing your engagement and wedding photos within the past year. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.
