Meet Elizabeth! She and her family were so wonderful to work with for these Colorado mountain senior photographs last fall. I made several suggestions for location ideas and they decided on Gross Reservoir. I really like this location, and visited it quite a bit over the years. The only negative is there can be a lot of walking. Gross Reservoir offers great mountain and reservoir views, wooden fences, rock formations, and a few aspen groves. We timed it pretty well, and the leaves were still golden and beautiful for Elizabeth’s fall session. Adding the fall foliage gave us some nice variety.
Speaking of variety, Elizabeth wore three outfits for her session. She also added her letterman jacket, her volleyball and basketball, and even her beloved dog to some shots. I loved that because it makes the photo session that much more personal and memorable! Elizabeth went a touch dressy for her outfit choices. All three were skirts or dresses…but definitely not too formal. First, she wore a plaid skirt and long sleeve nude colored top. Next a sage green dress with a fun cinch tie front. Finally, a long, metallic patterned skirt and long sleeve black top. She looked so cute in everything she wore! I always love seeing what outfits each high school senior client decides on.

This is definitely one of my favorites of these Colorado mountain senior photographs. Sweet moment with Elizabeth and her furbaby!

Thanks Elizabeth, I hope you are doing great! I hope you continue to pursue your love for volleyball and basketball, even if just a club team for fun. It would be an honor to have an opportunity to work with you again someday 🙂 Coming to the blog next, Candice and Daniel’s icy and windy Estes Park winter elopement. What a memorable afternoon that was! Check back soon.
