Emily + Pete | Colorado Winter Engagement Pictures | Beaver Brook Watershed

I have known Emily and Pete since high school…good ol’ Longmont High LOL! These two didn’t start dating until many years after high school. But I was so glad their paths crossed again and it was a love connection. They are a wonderful couple! They are getting married in Mexico in a few short weeks (only a little jealous!). Since their wedding photos will be full of sun and sand, they decided they wanted some snowy Colorado photos too. We met up in Evergreen for these Colorado winter engagement pictures, and it was sure a fun time.

For Emily and Pete’s session we decided on the trail between the Beaver Brook Watershed and Frosberg Park. So glad a fellow photographer told me about this awesome hidden gem years ago. I have had a handful of opportunities to shoot here over the years. It’s a really great spot…year round! Winter can be very icy on the trails, but there were no major falls. It was totally worth the trek to get down near the watershed for those picturesque Colorado views. Emily and Pete kept things pretty easy with just two outfits for their session. Emily started in jeans, tall boots, and an olive green sweater. She added a trendy off-white hat for a few photos too. Pete also wore jeans, but with a cream colored button down shirt. Nice and neutral that worked beautiful with the mountain scenery. Next Emily wore white leggings, a wine colored sweater dress and a beautiful, cozy scarf. Pete kept on jeans and wore a nice light brown sweater. They did a great job with outfit selections!

This is definitely one of my favorites from their Colorado winter engagement pictures. They are pretty sweet together!
