The Pettit Family | Colorado Fall Family Mini Session | Lavern Johnson Park Lyons

Today I am sharing the Pettit family’s Colorado fall family mini session. What a fun time with this awesome little family! Nicole is a fellow photographer, so there’s always some extra pressure. But she continues to support me and my business year after year. I am always so appreciative of repeat clients…it means the world to me! We went to the popular Lavern Johnson Park in Lyons for this colorful fall session. A lot of the leaves had fallen from the trees by this point in the fall season, but we made good use of all the crunch leaves that blanketed the ground.

The Pettit family always ends up choosing the cutest outfits! This was no exception. I loved how they all incorporated a mustard or a shade of orange and blues. Little Connor’s eyes looked extra blue with his denim blue shirt. What a cutie pie! The boys even had matching daddy and son boots. How perfect is that?! Nicole being a photographer herself, and knowing what works well on camera is very apparent. Well done lady!

This is definitely one of my favorites from their colorful fall family photos in Lyons. I love Connor’s sweet laugh and that awesome blanket of crunchy fall leaves!

Thanks again Pettit family. It’s always wonderful to see you guys each year! Nicole, so wonderful to have our little boys finally meet each other this spring. We will have to get them together again in 2023. Almost through all of these fall 2021 sessions here on the blog! But up next, bouncing forward to another winter wedding from earlier this year. Andrea and Nick are such a chic, stylish couple, and their Cherry Creek wedding really reflected that. Check back very soon 🙂
