Happy Thanksgiving week! I hope you have fun plans with your loved ones. I will be up at my sister’s cabin in Winter Park starting mid-week. Should be a good time…looking forward to a much needed break! Today I am bringing you some snowy Colorado winter engagement portraits from Echo Lake Park in Idaho Springs. These two are getting married in less than two months. Should be even more snowy photos for Christine and Travis during their Lionscrest Manor wedding.
It was chillier than anticipated so these two ended up wearing their coats for most of the session. As well as a ton of cuddling together. Don’t let that sun fool you…it was windy and cold! But that’s what you get during winter in the Colorado mountains. They both wore jeans and some form of maroon/burgundy, as that is a favorite color of theirs. Christine switched into a black leather jacket for some photos as well, two peas in a pod! They braved the cold as well, and ditched the coats for a few shots in their simple long sleeve tops.

This is one of my favorites from Christine and Travis’ Colorado winter engagement portraits. Love that they are “laugh kissing” and all the snow falling around them!

Christine and Travis, I am looking forward to working together again soon for your winter wedding. I am sure it will come together beautifully! I hope you can let the stress of the day go and have as much playful fun together as you did during your engagement session. Tomorrow on the blog, back to Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Winter Park for another snowy session. This one was Mythri and Will’s amazing maternity pictures. You don’t want to miss them!
