Another day, another new blog post! Still over 50 more posts to share in the coming months. Today we are taking you back to Grand County, to Devil’s Thumb Ranch near Winter Park. I will be up in this area tomorrow again. This time for rest and relaxation with my family at my sister’s cabin. I don’t think we will have anywhere near the amount of snow up there are Mythri and Will did for their session. There was an absolute ton of snow on the ground for their Colorado winter maternity portraits. That was quite the temperature shock for this Texas couple! We would take a step and drop down knee deep into the snow, it was comical at times. But at least it wasn’t a blizzard like Raziya’s session which I just shared HERE.
Mythri and Will were visiting the Colorado mountains for a baby moon before the arrival of their final baby. They thought a beautiful, snowy session for this baby would be totally different than their normal Texas photo shoots. They were staying at Devil’s Thumb Ranch already, and since I already love shooting at this location there was no question where the session would take place. It worked out wonderfully! Myrthi and Will had two outfits for their session. She started out in a red fitted maternity gown. Oh my goodness was that stunning against all that fresh, white snow. Will looked very handsome in his black suit. What a stunning couple! For their second outfit she stuck with a maternity dress. This one was dusty pink, with a chiffon bottom and sparkly long sleeve top. This was not your average maternity dress. Equally as beautiful, and photographed so well! Will went much more casual in jeans, a sweater, and a beanie.
This is definitely one of my favorites from their Winter Park Colorado maternity portraits. Such a sweet, serene, still moment filled with excitement and love!
Thanks again Myrthi and Will. I hope your delivery went well, and you are loving life as a now complete family. On the blog next, the intimate Poudre Canyon spring wedding of Monica and Chris. I will see you there!
