Meet Elena! She was such a sweetheart and I had a blast working together. She decided on Rocky Mountain National Park for her Estes Park senior pictures. We started out at Sprague Lake and captured her with the mountain and lake views, the bridges, dock, and she even splashed in the water for a couple minutes. After that we headed to Moraine Park for golden hour and sunset shots. We captured Elena with the open field mountain views, along the river, and with the wildflowers. We ended along the boulders of the nearby river. This is technically still part of Moraine Park, but it looks like completely different scenery. I love the treelined raging river at this spot. Need to stop here more often!
We got a ton of variety during Elena’s session. With two (actually more like three) locations, and four outfits…it was hard to narrow her photos down to a reasonable number! She started in a navy blue plaid, puff sleeve dress. Next she wore a long, black, slit dress. This was her dressiest look…she looked great! After we went to Moraine Park she wore her two casual looks. First, cropped jeans and a white cropped tank top. She was proud to show off her abdominal scar. We were trading stories of the medical battles we have both faced in life. That’s awesome that she is proud of her scar, many people would just want to hide it. Her final outfit was jeans and a flutter sleeve top in the most beautiful shade of green. I loved it!
This is one of my favorites from Elena’s Estes Park senior pictures. I love this pose, and the beautiful scenery as the sun is tucking behind the mountains!
Thanks so much Elena, it was sure a fun evening together in the beautiful Colorado mountains! Coming to the blog tomorrow, family photos for a past high school senior client that is now engaged and has a baby boy. Where does the time go?! Come back soon and check out the Gibbs’ family photos at South Mesa Trail in Boulder.
