Today on the blog the Gibbs’ Boulder family pictures at South Mesa Trail. You may recognize Lindsay, if you follow my blog or social media. I did two senior sessions for her years ago. First, an amazing gymnastics session at at gym in Johnstown. Next, a full summer senior session in Prospect New Town. I was so happy for her when I heard about her engagement and her pregnancy on Instagram. I was even more happy when she reached out to me to capture these photos. We even snuck in some spring engagement photos of Lindsay and Jake during their session!
South Mesa Trail is always a good option for a photoshoot, as it’s pretty and versatile year round. This is the first time I recall shooting here in the springtime though. I was delighted to see some pretty lilac bushes and other spring blossoms and wildflowers. We were sure to incorporate them into their photos. The Gibbs family kept things simple with just one outfit for their photo shoot. They looked great though! Lindsay in a short, white, floral dress. Jake in a white button down and jeans. Precious little Mason was also in denim…but a cute patterned jumper. Can we talk about his wild and absolutely adorable hair too?! So darn cute!
This is one of my favorites from the family portion of their Boulder family pictures. Sweet candid moment, in a field of yellow wildflowers. Love it!
Thanks again Lindsay, Jake and Mason! You guys are such an adorable family. I really loved working together and capturing these spring family portraits for you. Hopefully we get a chance to work together again someday! Next up on the blog, Trish and Marcell’s beautiful, snowy May weather at the Pines at Genesee. That was such a special, memorable day…you don’t want to miss it 🙂
