Trisha + Marcell | Pines at Genesee Wedding Photography | Colorado Snow Wedding

I have been so excited to share Trisha and Marcell’s fun-filled wedding day here on the blog. These two know how to through one hell of a party! Their Pines at Genesee wedding photography was full of beauty, sweet and funny moments, and snowy mountain scenery. A few days before their spring wedding there was a huge snowstorm. You gotta love unpredictable Colorado wedding…especially in the mountains! They decided to move their ceremony indoors, but overall they went with the flow and didn’t let some snow ruin their big day.

There were a lot of things to love about Trisha and Marcell’s wedding day. But some of the things that were really memorable was their “flower man”. This was the first time I saw this at a wedding. A (grownup) friend of theirs wore a fanny pack and threw rose petals down the aisle, in place of a flower girl. Guests absolutely loved it! Everyone was cracking up! He got really into it, and did such a great job entertaining the crowd. I also really loved Trisha’s long, dramatic veil. Your girl loves a veil! We had to incorporate the veil into their couple’s portraits. So beautiful! Trisha and Marcell’s dance floor was packed all night long, and we saw some really epic moves. I especially loved the surprise dance Trisha and her dad performed during the father-daughter dance.

This is definitely one of my favorites of this Pines at Genesee wedding photography. I just love that dramatic veil, with the the soft white snow backdrop! So much so, that this has been my cover photo on my Facebook business page since their May wedding.

Before their first official kiss as husband and wife they did their special, secret handshake. How cute are these two?!

Thanks again Trisha and Marcell. I loved your wedding (and you guys!), and I won’t soon forget it. Hopefully we have the opportunity to work together again someday for the other special milestones in life. Have a wonderful first holiday season as a married couple!
