Marina and Alex were so wonderful to work with. I met them at their house in Centennial, and they took me to some open space parks right in their neighborhood (along the Cherry Creek Trail). We came across a sign that said 17 Mile House Farm Park and I instantly recognized that name. This is definitely a popular location, mentioned often in my photography groups. I was glad to finally shoot here for their Colorado fall maternity pictures. It was a bit further into fall, so nearly all of the foliage was gone…but we still got a bunch of beautiful stuff. Even though it was chilly at times, we had the prettiest, sunny, golden light. We got photos on multiple bridges, along the river, sitting in crunchy, fallen leaves, and in the field of long grasses.
Alex kept it simple with just one outfit for their session. He wore dark jeans, and a nice blue, plaid button down shirt. Marina opted for two outfits during their session. The first was a really pretty two-tone fitted dress. Dark pink on the bottom (perfect for baby girl on the way), and black, long sleeved on top. This was such a pretty choice…loved it! She made one outfit change and that was a long black, v-neck maternity dress. A classic and simple dress that photographed beautifully as well. Marina’s soft curls, and vibrant red lipstick nicely completed her pregnancy look!
This is definitely one of my favorites from their Colorado fall maternity pictures. I loved this two tone maternity dress that Marina wore, that sweet, soft expression, and that beautiful golden light!
Marina and Alex welcomed their precious baby girl on Christmas Eve, and gave her the fitting middle name of “Noel”. How cute is that?! I hope parenthood is going great for you guys so far. Hopefully we have more opportunities to work together in the future. Next on the blog, a windy, mountain engagement session at Mary’s Lake in Estes Park. Don’t miss out…it’s a good one!
