Hailey + Connor | Marys Lake Engagement Photos | Estes Park Portrait Photographer

Today I am sharing Hailey and Connor’s Marys Lake engagement photos. Estes Park in the fall can be very windy, and wow was it ever! We even got some snow flurries which was shocking to me, as the weather apps made it seem so much nicer than it was. Thankfully they were such troopers, and we managed to get a ton of great stuff. These two are getting married in Idaho this year, that is where they are from. They had recently relocated to Longmont though, and wanted some pretty mountain views for their engagement session. Mary’s Lake is a spot that I have shot at here and there. I really should go here more…it’s a nice spot with great variety! We got photos with the lake and mountains, on the “beach” next to the lake, and on the cool rock formations.

Hailey and Connor decided on three different outfits for their fall photo shoot. First they were both in jeans. Hailey in a wine-colored sweater and Connor in a gray sweater. Hailey added a cozy, plaid scarf to some of the photos. They also used it as a blanket to cuddle along the water’s edge. Such a great accessory! Next, Hailey changed into a flowy red dress and denim jacket. Connor wore darker jeans and changed into a hunter green ribbed long sleeve. This set of outfits was my personal favorite. Although I am sure Hailey was freezing with those bare legs and the dress blowing in the wind. Finally for the beach photos on the opposite side of the lake, Hailey changed into a burgundy, cowl neck sweater dress. Connor stuck with jeans and a neutral greige (gray beige) long sleeve shirt. They made great outfit choices that complimented the scenery wonderfully!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Hailey and Connor’s Marys Lake engagement photos. I love those cool rock formations. As well as the wind in her dress and hair…so pretty!

Thanks so much Hailey and Connor! I thoroughly enjoyed working together and I hope that your wedding is everything you dreamed it would be. The weather may not have been what we had hoped for, but I think the photos turned out great. I hope you love and cherish them for years to come!
