Laura + Colin | Boulder Fall Engagement Pictures | Coot Lake Colorado

Today on the blog I am sharing Laura and Colin’s Boulder fall engagement pictures. Laura’s aunt is actually the one that found my work and hired me for their July 2023 wedding at the Chandelier Barn at Lionsgate Event Center. I did meet up with the couple themselves for coffee one afternoon prior to this session. Turns out I actually went to high school with Laura. If that wasn’t enough of a coincidence, Colin actually works for the same company as my husband’s previous job. They hadn’t met in person, but recognized each other’s names at least. Small world for sure!

We decided on Coot Lake and Boulder Reservoir for their engagement session. The scenery was really pretty with colorful fall foliage. The weather was nice and sunny as well, but it was quite windy. We made it work, and managed to get some really great stuff! The each wore two outfits for their session. They both started in jeans. Laura in an off-white sweater and long necklace. Colin in a grape purple sweater with plaid shirt underneath. Next, Laura changed into a dark teal dress with tall brown boots. Colin wore jeans again and a teal and white plaid, button down shirt. They looked great

Thanks Laura and Colin. I had a great time working together and I am looking forward to your July wedding. You guys are so much fun and playful together, so I know the wedding will be a blast! On the blog next, Christine and Travis’ winter wedding at Lionscrest Manor. Snow and sun…what a gorgeous day!
