Yippee…I am so close to being caught up on the blog, I can taste it! I haven’t been caught up in years, so this is exciting for me. Today’s share is my first wedding of 2023. Christine and Travis’ Lionscrest Manor winter wedding was very beautiful and very unique. This was a day FULL of emotion and memorable moments! There was so much love, joy, laughter, and tears. I especially loved the dance shared between Christine and her brand new mother-in-law. That is not one of the typical “special” dances, but it was incredibly moving. It was also wonderful to see some sweet moments between Christine’s four boys and their new stepdad. They have a really great bond! You can tell they are very close, and that Travis is an awesome father figure for them!
There were so many other parts of Christine and Travis’ day that I really loved. Like how they incorporated red throughout their wedding details. The red embellishments on Christine’s dress were beautiful. As were the red shawls on the bridesmaids, her red and white, cascading bridal bouquet, and the fresh raspberries on their intricate, four-tier cake. They very clearly love this color. It worked perfectly against the mountain backdrop and the white snow (even though, surprisingly, we didn’t have a ton of that). The flower girl dresses were the most adorable I have probably ever seen! Those two looked darling, and you can tell they really felt like princesses. Christine and Travis also had a personalized and humorous wedding ceremony, officiated by Rick Ebbers. Rick actually married my husband and I. As well as both of my sisters and their husbands. He does an amazing job!
This is one of my favorites from their Lionscrest Manor winter wedding photos. Although doesn’t look super “wintery” in this shot LOL! Just love that view and the sweet way they look at each other.
Christine and Travis had a really fun dance floor, and there was a whole lot of twirling and lifting going on! Before their grand exit, they shared one final, private dance. What a perfect ending to their most special day!
Thank you Christine and Travis! Wishing you a very long and happy marriage together. Your wedding day was uniquely you, and it’s not one I will soon forget 🙂 On the blog next, Mackenzie and Adrian’s snowy Echo Lake couple’s portraits. Come back and check out the “snow tornado” in the background during their session (that’s what we named it at least).
