Today on the blog I am bringing you Nicole and Dan’s RMNP elopement wedding photos. These two exchanged their vows privately earlier in the day. Then I met up with them at Sprague Lake for some relaxed, romantic wedding portraits. Estes Park is a very special place for this couple. They traveled from Kansas City to elope in the beautiful Colorado mountains. They planned a bigger reception party back home during the summer. Considering it was still spring, and the high country is often still snowy that time of year, we lucked out with some great weather. It was very mild temps, and no wind! Not particularly warm, but absolutely nothing to complain about.
I love the variety we got during Nicole and Dan’s wedding portraits. We captured photos on the dock, bridge, and wooden bench. Fully taking in those epic mountain views! We also got photos with their custom Rocky Mountain National Park sign, and their other personal wedding details. Nicole wore a fur shrug for a lot of the photos, and they even cuddled under a fuzzy blanket for a few minutes. They didn’t actually need it for warmth thankfully, but it sure made a cute photo prop. We finished their elopement photography coverage with a little dance next to the river. What a gorgeous and memorable evening in Estes Park!

This is one of my favorites from Nicole and Dan’s RMNP elopement wedding photos. A sweet, candid newlywed moment in the beautiful mountains!

Thanks again Nicole and Dan. I am wishing you a lifetime of happiness and joy in your marriage! I hope you continue to make a ton of happy memories together in our amazing Colorado mountains 🙂 On the blog next, an epic, rainy proposal session in Cherry Creek. I absolutely loved helping Steve plan his proposal to Melissa. She was so surprised, and it was such a blast to photograph!
