Today on the blog I am sharing the wedding of my beautiful friends Brooke and Brent. These two have been together for over a decade, and finally made it official on their dating anniversary, July 22nd! I absolutely loved capturing their Greenbriar Inn wedding photography. The Greenbriar Inn has been a well-loved Boulder restaurant for over 50 years. I have been there for dinner (many years ago), but this was actually my first time shooting here. They have a really great outdoor ceremony space tucked in on the back of the property. It made a picture-perfect backdrop for their intimate, summer wedding. Some great spots for photos at the Greenbriar include a pond with a little waterfall, amongst the trees, and in the open field with mountain views. The restaurant itself makes a nice backdrop, and there are colorful flowers sprinkled all around the property.
Some of my favorite parts of Brooke and Brent’s wedding was Brooke’s stunning bridal look. Her dress was gorgeous and unique with the awesome crisscross back and flutter sleeves, her make-up was perfect, and I just love her boho, fishtail braid. I also love how her two sons walked her down the aisle. They both love Brent so much, they were proud to give their mom away to him. Finally, their vows were so emotional and sweet, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. Their guest count may have been small, but the emotion, joy and love was in abundance!
This is definitely one of my favorites from Brooke and Brent’s Greenbriar Inn wedding photography. I just love this sweet moment between newlyweds, as well as that gorgeous mountain field!
Brooke and Brent, I can never thank you enough for allowing me to share in your intimate and wonderful wedding celebration. I hope you love the photos, and will cherish them for many years to come. I know you were basically married already, but I am so glad that you made it officially official and I got to be there to witness it!
