Happy September friends…my busiest time of year begins now! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I am sharing Morgan and Seth’s Crook Colorado wedding photos. Before this wedding I had never been to, nor heard of Crook, Colorado. It’s a tiny town in the northeastern corner of the state. Just about 20 minutes away from the Nebraska border. Morgan and Seth’s wedding ceremony took place on her family’s land, with a rustic old home in the background. They had a wooden platform/stage to hold them, the officiant, and the wedding party. There was a very cool, wooden arch with vibrant flowers attached. It was a unique and picture-perfect backdrop for their rustic, farm wedding. Their large reception was held at the Crook Community Center.
There was so much to love about Morgan and Seth’s beautiful wedding day. Some of my favorite parts of their wedding day was the fact that they included their dog in their “first look”. Also, they thought of just about every wedding detail possible. Both ceremony and reception details were so wonderfully thought out, personalized and creative. One of these details that really stood out was the dessert table that featured each of their favorite desserts for their guests to enjoy. Morgan’s favorites are s’mores. The s’mores stand included “the classics” of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate. But they kicked it up a notch with fudge stripe cookies, Reece’s peanut butter cups, and york peppermint patties. Seth’s favorite goes by a few names, dirt dessert or dirt pudding are the most common. This took me back to childhood! I haven’t had that since I was a kid, and since they had extra, I took one for the road. Chocolate pudding, oreos, and gummy worms. Delicious!
Morgan and Seth’s wedding ceremony was incredible and very memorable too.
This was the first time a wedding party and couple have arrived in a livestock trailer. Then, for their unity ceremony they poured two different colored paints onto a canvas to make an abstract painting. It turned out awesome! As they shared their first kiss, confetti canons shot from either side of the wooden platform. It definitely made a statement, and was such a fun, joyful moment!
This is definitely one of my favorites from Morgan and Seth’s Crook Colorado wedding photos. So personal taking photos on Morgan’s family farm. Their cows in the background…so cool!
Morgan really wanted photos with her family’s cows. They were curious about what was going on, so it didn’t take any persuasion to get them to come up to the fence LOL.
Thanks so much to Sarah Sonnenberg for having me along to photograph Morgan and Seth’s big day. It was such a great event, and I loved being a part of it! Next on the blog, a group cap and gown senior session in Boulder. Check back soon!
