Maung + Mun | Clocktower Denver Proposal Photos | Colorado Engagement

Earlier this year I captured Steve and Melissa’s rainy Denver proposal photos. I was thrilled to head back to Denver a few days ago to capture Maung’s proposal to Mun as well. Maung and I chatted for months planning these Clocktower Denver proposal photos while they were visiting from Idaho. It had been a few years since I had shot at the Clock Tower Events, but I was so excited to be back. It’s such a cool space, and was a perfect proposal setting. They had it set up beautifully with a little “marry me” sign, sheer curtains around the clock, candles and rose petals lined the “aisle”. Off to the side was a table for two, complete with candles, flowers, chocolates, and champagne.

I arrived early and hid behind a curtained off closet, just opposite of the clock. I was nervous! But it turned out beautifully, and Mun was beaming with excitement when she realized what was happening. Maung had told her that they had a scheduled tour of the historic clocktower during their visit to Denver. That was the backstory to get her there. They rode the elevator, 18 floors up, then a few steps into the room and their lives were about to change forever! Maung spoke a lot of words to his soon-to-be-fiance before dropping to his knee and popping the question.

We did a bunch of celebratory engagement photos all over the clock tower events space. Then they toasted their champagne, ate a few chocolates, and cuddled and kissed a bunch! After we captured all of the clock tower goodness that we wanted, we decided to walk over to Larimer Square and get some outdoor, urban portraits as well. We were sure to get the clock tower from way below on the ground too. What a great proposal session.

This is definitely one of my favorites from these Clocktower Denver proposal photos. Such a sweet, tender moment! I loved incorporating all of the rose petals and the little “marry me” sign.
