Renee and Tony + 1 on the way | RMNP Maternity Photography | Sprague Lake

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Renee and Tony during their anniversary trip to the Colorado mountains. We decided on Moraine Park and Sprague Lake for their RMNP maternity photography session. It was such a beautiful evening in Estes Park, and I am in love with the images we created together. Renee and Tony are so thrilled to be expecting their first child. They are incredibly sweet together. I am sure they will be wonderful parents to that lucky baby!

Renee and Tony each wore two outfits during their session. These two couldn’t be anymore different…very dressy and then very casual. I love the variety that it provided during this session. Renee’s vibrant orange maternity gown was one of my favorites ever from my maternity clients. She looked stunning and it photographed amazingly well against the golden fields and the blue skies and mountains. Tony wore slacks and an ornately embroidered, white, button down shirt. They wore these outfits for the entire time we were at Moraine Park, as well as the short stop at the aspen grove along Bear Lake Road. We did a few quick photos on the dock at Sprague Lake, and then they made a quick outfit change. The both wore jeans. Tony opted for a green button down, and Renee a cozy flannel. She did wear a cropped top underneath so she could show off that beautiful bare belly too!

This is one of my favorites from Renee and Tony’s RMNP maternity photography session. While I love all of the mountain views throughout this session, there is something so special about this golden hillside of colorful fall foliage! Renee’s orange pops so well against the yellows, golds, and greens…so pretty!
