This is my third session with the Polston family. Three sessions in three different seasons, one single location. They just love this location, and wanted to stick with it for their updated RMNP family portraits. This was also the first time I got to meet the newest member of their family. What a cute bunch! It was a super bright evening at Sprague Lake, but I love the images we were able to create together. Pretty crazy to compare this to our previous session together there, where we were walking on the frozen lake. Knee dip in snow at times!
Their outfits are always on point…especially these fashionista girls! Kylie wore an amazing long, flowy, rust colored dress. This photographed beautifully. I absolutely loved the long sleeves, and the dramatic, high slit showed off her cowgirl boots so well. Their daughters wore matching burgundy dresses and pant sets. They looked adorable, of course! Tim matched his gorgeous wife with a plaid button down with a rust and fall color scheme. He kept it a little more casual than his girls, with jeans, boots and a baseball cap.
I just love this sweet, candid moment between sisters! It is definitely one of my favorites from the Polston’s RMNP family portraits at Sprague Lake. I hope they have the most amazing friendship while growing up together. Sisters are the best!
Thank you so much Polston family for supporting my small business for the third time. I really enjoy working with you all, each and every time. We’ve done summer family photos, winter maternity/family photos, and now these fall family photos at Sprague Lake. What do you say…a spring session next? Although at this elevation, these would probably be the snowiest of the bunch 😉 Next up on the blog, Gaida’s college senior photos. We got some awesome stuff, so be sure to check back soon!
