Happy Halloween friends! I hope it is a safe and fa-boo-lous day! Before you go out trick or treating or enjoying some boos (LOL), check out this recent session. I had an absolute blast! Gaida will graduate at the end of the year, but we got together while the weather was still warm for her CSU college senior pictures. She is a first generation college graduate, and her family could not be more proud of her.
Gaida is such a sweet, joyful young woman…it was really fun working together! We met up at the oval at CSU, always a popular choice. We captured a bunch of photos around the administration building and on the tree lined path. She even included her cap and gown, her class of 2023 tassel, and her Ram hardhat for her construction management major. We also walked across the oval to get photos with the buildings where she spent the majority of her time, for this particular major.
After a few photos with the stone Colorado State University sign, she popped some champagne with her mom and sister and celebrated! Next, we headed over to the CSU flower trial gardens. These may look familiar, as I have captured photos at this location a few other times. Including Alicia and Nate’s engagement session HERE. The gardens looked absolutely stunning, with such vibrant colors, this time of year. It was a picture-perfect backdrop for the rest of Gaida’s session. Although, others had the same idea. The gardens were packed.
Gaida started the gardens part of the session in a short, white romper and cowgirl boots. She added an intricate cowgirl hat to some of the photos. Next, she changed into dark jeans and a simple white blouse. She threw on her gray Colorado State sweatshirt for a few final photos…including the popular cowbells that students ring at football games. A great session, full of so much variety. Which one is your favorite?

This is definitely one of my favorites from Gaida’s CSU college senior pictures. I just love photos of spraying champagne. And that joy on her face is just beautiful!

Thanks again, Gaida. Congrats on your upcoming graduation…you should be so proud! Now go out there and do amazing things. New month with many new posts coming up next. First up, Mackenzie and Adrian’s fall mini session in Mead. Such a colorful session, full of sun and fall foliage!
