Bryanna + Cody | Engagement Pictures in Boulder Colorado | South Mesa Trail

Happy July friends! If you have followed my work for a while, these next two made look familiar. Especially Bryanna. I have photogrphed her multiple times over the last decade. First for her high school senior photos, and then four years later for her CSU college senior pictures. As well as a few couple’s sessions for her and Cody during their dating period. Well actually, at the last couple’s session in Lyons, they had just gotten engaged days before. But since she hadn’t known he was going to propose when he did, she wasn’t planning that as engagement photos. So we wanted a proper engagement session as well! We went to South Mesa trail for these engagement pictures in Boulder. This is always a great location, with a lot of variety to offer. Mountains, wooden bridge, stone house, the river, lots of trees. So much gorgeousness to love!

Cody is in the military and spends most of his time overseas. We have a very limited window to fit our sessions in while he is on leave. On this day his family also joined us for an extended family session. I won’t be sharing those on the blog though. I don’t generally share those here, as I have so many sessions overall to share. Bryanna and Cody chose a couple different outfits during their session. Cody also changed into his dress uniform at the end. They asked that I not share those images, however. Which I am kinda bummed about, because we had the most spectacular sunset at the end of their session! Bryanna started in jeans and a green, sheer sleeved top. I loved the white bow in her long red locks! Cody wore jeans and a gray, button down shirt. Next, Bryanna wore a short white dress and adorable strappy heels. Cody stuck with jeans, and changed into a navy blue Botton down shirt.

This is definitely one of my favorites from Bryanna and Cody’s engagement pictures in Boulder. We really lucked out with timing, because these yellow wildflowers don’t last long!
