Caitlin – Class of 2025 | Colorado Lake Senior Pictures | Brainard Lake

Meet Caitlin! Her Colorado lake senior pictures are some of my favorites in recent memory. This session was so much fun! It really filled my cup and proved once again that I have the most amazing job. Caitlin had a specific vision for her senior session. She knew she absolutely wanted to be in a beautiful mountain lake in an emerald green dress. We considered a lot of locations, but Brainard Lake definitely fit the vision wonderfully. This is always one of my favorite locations. Although the weather, especially the wind, can definitely be somewhat unpredictable. It was a breezy evening, but not too bad! Caitlin was cold though…especially once she got into the water. I don’t think she anticipated that during the summer. But you never know what you are going to get at a lake above 10,000 feet. She was such a trooper though. She didn’t complain at all, and you can only see the goosebumps if you zoom in LOL!

Caitlin decided on three adorable and trendy outfits for her session. She started in a ripped denim skirt, a white, rouched top, and wedge sandals. She added a tan, felt hat into the photos here and there. I always love cute accessories! Her second outfit was a sassy short dress in pinks, reds and white. She completed this outfit with calf length cowgirl boots. She ended with the flowy, satin, emerald green dress. What an absolute showstopper of an outfit! Barefoot on the beach and in the water…wind in her hair. It was a photographer’s dream 🙂

I loved SO many images from Caitlin’s Colorado lake senior pictures, but this one is way up there. She looks like an absolute model here! I love the movement in the dress, her modern pose, the golden hour light glistening on the water. I really wish my own senior photos could have been even half this unique and gorgeous.

Oh Caitlin…thank you so much for allowing me to bring your vision to life! I absolutely loved working together. How I wish every senior session was this personal, inspiring, and fun.
