The Harnisch Family | Longmont Fall Family Pictures | Golden Ponds Nature Area

Happy December friends! I hope you had the most amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones. For the first post of the new month I am sharing the Harnisch family. You may recognize these guys as I have photographed them a bunch of times now. Katrina and Brian’s engagement, wedding, and post-wedding anniversary session. Then maternity photos, multiple family sessions and even newborn photos at their home in Wyoming. This time they took advantage of my once a year fall mini sessions. This jam-packed weekend of photography sessions took place at Golden Ponds Nature Area. Even though the mini sessions are only about twenty minutes, I am thrilled with all that we were able to capture during the Harnisch’s Longmont fall family pictures.

Many years ago I did select Golden Ponds for my fall mini sessions. I always try to pick new locations each year. But after more than 10 years of doing fall minis, I did decide to repeat locations. Golden Ponds had nice vibrant colors on this weekend, and it’s convenient for the majority of my clients that live in Northern Colorado. This year I actually had two different clients come from Wyoming though. The Harnisch family that I am sharing right now, as well as Noah who came down with his mom for a quick senior session. That really means so much to me when my clients make a long drive, just to work with me. Thank you, thank you! My main goal with mini sessions is to get my clients some great variety during a quick, shortened session. For the Harnisch family we got some nice smiling at the camera photos, as well as natural, candid shots. I got pictures of each parent with their cutie little boys, sweet sibling photos, and even individual shots with the boys.
