Siam – Class of 2025 | Niwot High Senior Portraits | Heil Valley Ranch

Years ago I scouted out this location, Heil Valley Ranch. But I never ended up shooting here until now. This is a popular mountain biking location. Siam is very into mountain biking so it was a perfect spot for his Niwot High senior portraits. This ended up being a really great location for a portrait session, with a lot of variety. There are rustic old buildings and train cars. As well as mountain views, open fields, wooden fences, and lots of trees. This location has been known to have rattlesnakes, so we had to be extra cautious. Thankfully we didn’t cross paths with any of these “nope ropes”!! I really love when clients incorporate their interests and hobbies into their sessions. I have photographed a lot of sports and activities, but I believe this is the first mountain biker. Photographing new and different things is always exciting and fun!

Siam wore three different outfits for his senior portraits. He went pretty simple in black and white. He started in a black polo shirt and black pants. He wore this outfit leaning against the fence, posing in front of the old school house, and with the yellow flowering bushes. Then he changed into a white polo, with the same black pants. In this outfit he sat on a large downed tree trunk, and posed against a wooden barn with a cool chevron pattern. Siam changed shirts one last time, into a long sleeve black shirt. This is the outfit which he wore for all of the photos with his mountain bike. We got action shots, and posed portraits with his bike alike. He even threw on his helmet for a few photos. A very Siam “accessory”!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Siam’s Niwot High senior portraits. I love that view, the cool, rustic fence, and incorporating his sleek black and orange mountain bike into the photo.

Thanks so much Siam! I hope you are having the best senior year so far. I am wishing you all the best after high school, with all of your future endeavors.
