Sarah + Tom | Spruce Mountain Colorado Wedding | Spring Wedding Inspiration

Recently I headed down south to capture Sarah and Tom’s Spruce Mountain Colorado wedding. It’s such a small world! It turns out Sarah inquired with me not knowing that it was me behind the business. Sarah and I used to dance together years ago on the Colorado Eagles Chicks. We lost touch, so I was so glad to hear from her. And even more glad to be able to capture these photos from their beautiful spring wedding. To show it’s an even more small world, it turns out that Sarah’s mom worked with Eric, my past client and former next door neighbor! Eric had actually referred me to them. Which I am always so appreciative of!

I have shot at Spruce Mountain Ranch a few times before. This was my first colder weather, mostly indoor event here. Considering it could be a blizzard in March, we actually really lucked out with a mild, sunny day. If it hadn’t been windy, we probably would have done a ton of photos outside. We did get them outside for a few minutes here and there. But we spent most of the time indoors. We took advantage of every photo location that the Upper Ranch has to offer and I love the variety we were able to get for Sarah and Tom.

There was so much to love about Sarah and Tom’s spring wedding. Some of my favorite parts were definitely their sweet, heartfelt vows. Also their candy bar was so cute and colorful. Guests loved all of the goodies! The dance floor was packed, and such a fun time. Their day ended up with a fun bubble exit. We decided to do this indoors, since it was so windy and chilly. But ya know what? It turned out so beautiful…I for one loved it!

This is one of my favorites from Sarah and Tom’s Spruce Mountain Colorado wedding pictures. You know I love a dramatic veil shot! The wind made it a little unruly. But I absolutely love how it turned out!

Thanks Sarah and Tom. What a fun and beautiful wedding! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Sarah, it was so wonderful to catch up with you and your post Eagles Chicks life 😉 I am so glad you are doing so well. You deserve all the happiness in the world!
