You may recognize Addie from her jam-packed two-day, sixteen outfit summer senior session HERE. I met up with her and her older sister in Fort Collins, I loved being their Colorado graduation photographer. These were shorter sessions, so not a lot of time for outfit changes this time. Plus it was all about the graduation garb. Addie wore a cute white dress and beige heels. She added her black graduation gown and cap, with her Mead High School burnt orange tassel to some of the images. Her mom also brought along a cute, sparkly 2025 decoration. She also had some cowgirl boots along. I actually can’t remember why she didn’t end up wearing those. But I did have a cute idea, and we hung her tassel from the boots while she was blurred out in the background. Maybe not a shot you’d hang on your walls, but I love to add some creative shots into my client’s galleries!
A handful of Addie’s images were on the CSU campus, at the oval. But since she’s not a college student, we stuck to the more unidentifiable and nature areas. The buildings here on the CSU campus don’t have any meaning to Addie, like they do to her big sis. The majority of Addie’s session was over at the CSU Annual Flower Trial Gardens. This was pretty fitting, because we did a flower farm for her main senior session as well. Lots of flowers for this lady! I hadn’t been here this early in the year before, I thought there’d be more in bloom. But what was blooming looked beautiful and we got some great shots. Mostly tulips and daffodils (I think!), but at least that provided us with a ton of great colors. They also liked the underpass “tunnel” for a little bit more of an urban look. This gave them some great variety all in one location.

This is one of my favorites from my evening as Addie’s Fort Collins Colorado graduation photographer. I love the vibrant lilac bushes, her sassy pose and cute little smirk!

Thanks so much, you made my job so fun (as usual)! I hope you have the best summer. Wishing you all the best in community college, and whatever else your future has in store for you. In the next few weeks I will share my final photos from this evening in Fort Collins. Of course I had to get some sibling shots for these class of 2025 graduates! In the meantime though, I am going to sneak in my family session with the Barbarisi family at Chautauqua Park in Boulder. See you back here then!
