Claire – Class of 2026 | Colorado Swimmer Senior Pictures | Broomfield Photographer

Happy April friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Claire may look familiar because I already shared her amazing Brainard Lake senior session here on the blog. She and her mom actually found me through my social media and my past Colorado swimmer senior pictures. They absolutely knew they wanted to incorporate swimming into Claire’s photos. Since it would have been way too cold to do these at Brainard Lake we set up a separate mini session to capture these. We got permission to do them at the Broomfield Community Center Pool and that worked wonderfully. I love the variety we were able to capture during a quick mini session. Photos with her letterman jacket outside the pool. Then photos in her swimsuit with her goggles and cap. Then finally a bunch of photos in the water. And even a few action shots.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, I really love incorporating hobbies and athletics into my senior sessions. These are often such a huge part of these young folks’ lives at this point in time. It’s so wonderful to celebrate these special activities during their senior portraits!

I captured a lot of natural light photos during Claire’s session. Plus I had some fun with off-camera lighting too to create some more dramatic images. She seemed so relaxed in front of my camera. I guess the previous two hour session in the mountains really helped!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Claire’s Colorado swimmer senior pictures. I love the dramatic colors, pink of the cap, turquoise of the water. Claire’s little smirk is super cute!

I really love this one too! I like that the number 12 almost has a double meaning here. 12 feet in the pool and 12th grade for Claire…so fitting!

Thanks for another fun session, Claire. I am so glad you ended up doing these photos too! Graduation in just over a month. Wow, what an exciting time! Wishing you the very best. It was so fun to play even a small role in your senior experience. Happy graduation 🙂 Next on the blog, the Wosick family’s Hygiene session. An all adult family was a nice change of pace…no kiddos to chase after. I thought it may be a little boring, just smiling at the camera over and over. But these guys were an absolute blast! I laughed a lot. We got a little bit of everything during their epic fall session. So check back very soon.
