The Odegaard Family | Loveland Colorado Family Photographer | Bobcat Ridge Natural Area

Happy Monday…man, do the weekends fly on by! I have known Mandy since middle school. She and my twin sister were great friends, so of course, she became a friend of mine too! She has hired me multiple times to be their Loveland Colorado family photographer. It’s always such an honor! This session at Bobcat Ridge Natural Area has to be my favorite session with them though 🙂 Bobcat Ridge is a wonderful location for any type of portrait session…it offers so much variety! The location offers great mountain views, rustic structures, some red rock type formations, and lots of mature trees. To name a few!

Mandy did a great job organizing everyone’s outfits. They all looked great on camera! I really like, and recommend, that your groups outfits all compliment each other with out being “matchy”. Little Gracie added a great pop of color with her mustard yellow shirt (which can also be found a little bit in Mandy’s jacket). Speaking of Gracie…she was sure loving the camera lol! She was not really feeling it during their last shoot, so this was quite a change. She was loving the camera, and posing it up…what a ham! Big sister Bella has a wonderful smile, that can truly light up the room. She is always easy-going and a delight to photograph.

Homer has grown so much, and is in high school now. He was one of the first photography subjects when I was brand new…so crazy how time flies! That is my favorite thing about photographing families time and time again. I get to witness and document their growth and changing first hand. It feels like I am helping make time stand still, for just a moment 🙂 It brings me such joy, and I am so grateful for this amazing job!

I loved a lot of this session, but this one has got to be the favorite one captured as their Loveland Colorado family photographer! It’s not your typical family arrangement, and this tree is just the coolest!
