Happy 2023 friends! I really cannot believe a new year is upon us already. Any resolutions for the new year? Nothing too major for me…more regular workouts and improving my strength and flexibility that was lost with my back injury. Business wise I would like keep up on the blog better, and continue to serve my clients the best that I can. My first blog post of the new year is beautiful Uliana! She is one of the awesome class of 2023 students I had the opportunity to work with this past summer. Uliana has a few horses, and really wanted to incorporate them into her session. I always love making these shoots so unique and personalized. Uliana decided she would like to go to the farm where she takes lessons for her Colorado horse senior portraits. Fox Hill Farm worked well and we basically had the place to ourselves!

I had a wonderful time working with Uliana. She is a very sweet young lady, and it turns out we have a shared love of dance. We both grew up dancing at Dance Dimensions in Longmont, and were both on the competitive Starbound company. Besides incorporating her two horses, Uliana also decided to have her dad bring over his old blue truck to use as a photo prop. How fun is that?!

Uliana wore three outfits for her session. First a sage green and pink floral dress. Very pretty…very feminine! Next she changed into black, wide leg pants and a white, flutter sleeve top. She finished the look with a felt hat, leather belt with floral detail, and strappy, wedge sandals. This was my personal favorite outfit between the three. It was carefree and fun, and flattering while sitting and standing. Such a great choice! Uliana finished out the session in jeans, and a red metallic tank top. She added some super sassy iridescent heels with that outfit. I would have probably rolled my ankle in these shoes on the gravel road or horse fields LOL!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Uliana’s Colorado horse senior portraits. Three lovely subjects, and those mountain views at golden hour…so pretty!
