I have known Rebecca for many years. She was one of my former dance students at Dance Dimensions. And I even performed with her mom in the adult hip hop dance one year! It was so awesome working with Rebecca all these years later to capture her Wedgewood Weddings Boulder Creek photography. But way to make me feel really old LOL! She and Christian are such a sweet, easy-going, awesome couple 🙂 It was really such a pleasure to work with them as their Boulder wedding photographer. Rebecca and Christian sure know how to show their guests a great time! Their wedding was so much fun! Some of my favorite parts of their day included, Rebecca’s gorgeous, wedding gown (which fit her like a glove). As well as her amazing, colorful bridal bouquet, their thoughtful and hilarious wedding toasts, the fur that Rebecca wore for their exit and a few nighttime portraits, and the coffee cart they brought in for guests to enjoy. It does get chilly in the Boulder Canyon at the end of September. Also, I am not too surprised that with a dance loving family, the reception dance floor was packed. I don’t think I have ever seen both moms (mother of the bride and mother of the groom) having so much fun during a reception! They were getting down! Dancing together, dancing with Rebecca, dancing with other guests. It was lively and so much fun to watch 🙂 Then, the couple ran through a tunnel of guests, as they spun and waved colorful glow sticks…a perfect ending to a perfect evening!

Don’t you just love Rebecca’s unique engagement ring? Such a pretty shade of blue!

Because of a fairly early sunset in late September, and an evening ceremony, with no wedding “first look” beforehand, we absolutely had to get as many photos done prior to the ceremony as we could! Many guests had already arrived, and taken their seats. We didn’t want them to see Rebecca, so we had to do whatever we could to block her 😉 Robe blocking her from the side, bouquet in front of her face…it worked quite well LOL!
