Madelyn is yet another of the lovely ladies on my class of 2019 senior rep team. She was representing Erie High School. Madelyn is a stunning and very sweet young lady. I was so glad to have her on my team! The funny thing is that it turns out her mom is actually the childcare provider for our next door neighbors too 🙂 Such a small world! For Madelyn’s Erie Colorado senior pictures, we visited a couple of Longmont area “hot spots”, The Callahan House and Old Mill Park.
If you follow my work, I am sure you have already seen many sessions at the Callahan House. This is a great little spot for high school senior, and family portraits alike. It has a great fountain, tons of flowers (spring through fall at least), benches, statues, a gazebo, and a few other unique features. It’s not a huge location. But is really great for those teens wanting a garden setting for their senior photos.
Secondly, we visited Old Mill Park. I am so glad that they have finally invested some money in sprucing up this location. For several years it was not maintained, and was full of weeds, and was in pretty rough shape! My friend got married here many years ago, and it really is a cute little spot for photos. We used up most of the daylight at the Callahan House, so we only spent a few minutes at Old Mill Park. But just enough time to get some shots with the rustic barn, and old wagon, before calling it a wrap. Madelyn is a true natural in front of the camera. She participates in pageants, so she is extremely comfortable being photographed and knows how to carry herself extremely well. What a great shoot!
This is definitely one of my favorites of these Erie Colorado senior pictures! That light pink dress went great in this garden setting.
Quick stop at Old Mill Park too, to close out another great Longmont senior session 🙂
More photos of Madelyn, coming soon! We had an awesome time at her summer and fall senior sessions too. Those posts will be gracing the blog in the coming months 🙂 In fact, one of the images from her summer session at the RINO district in Denver just made the “finalist round” of the annual Shoot and Share photography competition. Yay!!
For another of my senior reps in a colorful, garden setting, check out Holly here too! Her spring Skyline High senior pictures were a blast too 🙂
