Yay…my last share of the 2018 weddings I had the honor of photographing! I may eventually share a few of the weddings I second shot, but certainly more pressing work at the moment 😉 I have been excited to share Briana and Kevin’s Della Terra wedding photos with you. Briana dreamed of a snowy, winter wedding…and boy did her dream day come true! Kevin wanted to make his bride happy, so he went along with her wishes. Although, he probably would have preferred having a tropical destination wedding on a beach somewhere.
With the huge amount of snow that had dumped on Estes Park the days leading up to the wedding, I didn’t expect them to have an outdoor ceremony. But that’s just what they did! It was a quick ceremony, full of blankets, cuddling, and space heaters. It sure was magically beautifully though! And although it didn’t actually snow for their Della Terra wedding photos, at a few points during the day, the wind picked up a bit and blew snow off the trees. That made it look perfectly snowy and stunning!
Briana and Kevin had a really fun day, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them both! Some of my favorite parts of their day were, their emotional first look, because they actually read their vows to each other then. It was a sweet, private “ceremony”, before the real ceremony. The first look between Briana and her dad was especially sweet too. He had such an awesome reaction to seeing his beautiful daughter for the first time! These two also had an amazing choreographed father-daughter dance during the reception, that easily made the list of my favorite moments from the day. Finally, I loved what troopers Briana and Kevin were the entire (chilly) day. They were up for anything, and it made my job that much more enjoyable. We even got a bunch of epic outdoor night shots…which wasn’t exactly warm lol!
The bridesmaids texted Kevin with the shoe shot, just prior to their first look. I bet the nerves kicked in after that!
I can’t EVEN believe how amazing their wedding came together!! Get it?! EVEN…Mr. & Mrs. Even 😉
Thank you Briana and Kevin for allowing me to document day one of your marriage. I designed and delivered a gorgeous album for these two, just before Christmas. It turned out beautifully…if I do say so myself 😉 I hope you guys look at that often and that it brings back all the joyful moments from your wedding day, for years to come. We love our own wedding album, and now it’s so fun to see little Dominic flipping through the pages and pointing out all of the people he knows. Papa, auntie, nana…it makes it so worth the investment of an heirloom quality album!
