Last fall I shot my first Cielo at Castle Pines wedding with my friend Katy. I haven’t shared those yet because I was second shooting that wedding for Katy’s business. I may eventually share, with her permission, when I have some extra time to edit the photos I captured. In the meantime, you will just have to enjoy the photos from Nicole and Brian’s amazingly snowy, winter wedding 🙂 Wow, what a truly awesome day! It may have been record low temps, but these two, and their wedding party were such troopers. It was so worth it! I absolutely love how the photos turned out. As I have said before, winter weddings are way underrated. They can be so magical…as you can see below! I understand the weather is unpredictable. But when the elements all come together well, as they did for Nicole and Brian, it’s a true winter wonderland!
Nicole and Brian are such a sweet, gracious couple, and they were such a pleasure to work with throughout the engagement and wedding process. If you missed their colorful, urban Denver engagement photos, check them out HERE. Some of my favorite parts of Nicole and Brian’s Cielo at Castle Pines wedding were the custom bobblehead Nicole had made of her groom, the ladies’ getting ready attire with the custom slippers and the “Friends” style bride and bridesmaids shirts, and the couple sporting special wedding Adidas. The groom’s family incorporating the Grover stuffed toy, which has made an appearance at every family wedding for generations, was really funny! Finally, their game themed reception details like the puzzle piece guestbook, and scrabble letter monograms were unique, personal and fun.
We ended their special day with some nighttime portraits. It was absolutely freezing, but they turned out incredible! And getting married in the 303, on 3/03…how fun is that?!
These are some of my favorite bridal party shots ever! I just think the snow and umbrellas are so magical!
These two night photos are some of my favorites from their Cielo at Castle Pines wedding. I wasn’t actually going for the silhouette shot, but people LOVED it! And to be honest, I totally do too 🙂
Thank you Nicole and Brian for being so wonderful to work with! I hope everyday of your marriage is as full of laughter, joy and love as your wedding day was 🙂 Thanks for trusting me to capture your Cielo at Castle Pines wedding photos. I hope you will treasure them for a lifetime!
