Wow, here we are…the last weekend of 2019! How time flies when you are busy, busy (and having some fun too)! I have had the privilege of working with this lovely family a couple times now. Years ago we did family photos together at Lone Hawk Farm. Then, last summer I took Kian’s class of 2019 senior photos at Coot Lake. This time, they joined onto my spring mini sessions at Roosevelt Park. I adore the way these Longmont CO family portraits. Their outfits in shades of blue and aqua, go amazing against all the pink, white and green of the blooming spring trees.
I have known Brooke since elementary school, and we grew up just about a block away. Since she graduated 20 years ago, we have occasionally crossed paths here and there over the years. Brent is also a Longmont High graduate, so we have all known each other for quite some time. I love capturing photos for them. Not only do they all photograph so well, but they are also very sweet and gracious too. It’s great to catch up on life during our brief time together 🙂 Hopefully I can get you all in front of my camera again in the new year. I can’t wait to hear about the exciting things happening in your lives. Like whether Kian is liking his freshmen year at the School of Mines.
This is probably my favorite of their Longmont CO family portraits 🙂 It’s not fair that they are all so photogenic and beautiful!
“Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of just cause, the triumph of truth.” -Menacheim Begin.
I loved this quote about the togetherness of a family. I have photographed more families this year, than any other year of my business. It’s always fun and interesting to see the different family dynamics of my clients. Some families are super close and affectionate, and some are much more reserved. Some families are all about the fun and candids, some want more “picture perfect” smiling at the camera shots. Blended families, kiddo only photo shoots, extended sessions with 30+ people…happy to work with all!

Love how you captured their love!! Great pictures of a great family!!
