Happy Friday all! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with those closest to you. It was very low key here, just my husband, kiddo and I. We had a great day though, and still filled up on all of the stuffing, turkey and pumpkin pie that we could handle. We video chatted with my parents, my sisters and niece and nephews. It was a different year no doubt, but the blessings were still bountiful. In a very tough year, I truly have so much to be thankful for. One of those things is all of my amazing clients!
Speaking of amazing clients…meet Jenny! We captured her Colorado mountain senior photos last year at Gross Reservoir. Jenny was a lot of fun to work with, and her smile seriously lights up the room. Ok, so we were outdoors the entire time…but she lit up there too lol! Gross Reservoir is always a great location for a senior session. It is not crazy busy like some of the Boulder locations just done Flagstaff Road. There is a ton of variety…this little aspen grove, wildflowers, mountain views, a bridge, rock formation, and shallow water to wade in. Jenny was such a natural in front of the camera, and her session was tons of fun!
If there is a “staple outfit” for senior girls, it would be the LWD (or the “little white dress”)! Jenny looked beautiful in this, and it allowed her to really pop from all the surrounding color from the mountains and trees. For even more senior clothing ideas, check out my Pinterest board HERE!
And lastly, my favorite of Jenny’s Colorado mountain senior photos! I just love the water rings, the reflection of the sunset on the water…and of course, Jenny’s beautiful, vibrant smile 🙂
I just know Jenny’s shining personality has helped her through this tough year. Having to graduate and start your future life in a pandemic cannot be easy, and my heart has broken for these class of 2020 students. They made history though…no doubt!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. If you would like to schedule your own portrait session, please reach out at plumprettyphoto@gmail.com soon! Coming to the blog next, my own cousin’s North Dakota country wedding. This was pre-Covid times with nearly 500 guests…it was sure an unforgettable day. I hope you will check back. Enjoy your weekend friends!
