Carly + Mark | Fort Collins Wedding Photography | Drake Centre Colorado Wedding

Mark is the cousin of one of my past brides. He and Carly liked what I captured for Jessie and Andrew, and so they reached out to me about capturing their Fort Collins wedding photography. I am so glad they did! Carly and Mark had a Catholic ceremony at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, followed by a Drake Centre reception. It was my first time shooting at both of these locations. We got some truly wonderful shots! The detour to the CSU flower trial garden, did help with that too! Although there wasn’t a ton blooming this time of year, there was still a lot of greenery. We also got some fall vibes with all of the crunchy leaves on the ground! This was a great location for wedding portraits, because it had so much wonderful variety. I really need to check out this spot again in the summer too, when all the flowers are blooming 🙂

Carly and Mark hosted a truly awesome day! Some of the stand out moments included their ceremony bubble exit, and the energetic and fun German wedding march during the reception. Note that this was pre-Covid, when we could have large wedding receptions. I look forward to the days of wild dance floors again! Another memorable part of their day was the unique groomsmen suits, with the custom lined jackets. Carly and Mark had some really great reception details as well. I especially loved the cupcake tower, with the super unique (and delicious) cupcake flavors. I am trying to get healthier in 2021, so a candy apple cupcake sure sounds good right about now! The flower filled pumpkin centerpieces were super adorable too, and were a perfect addition to their fall wedding celebration.

Mark, and each of his groomsmen had different, personalized fabric liners in their jackets. The groomsmen each had their names as well, but Mark went with “Mark loves Carly” inside his. How cute and fun is that?!

This was for sure one of the funniest parts of the day! Giving Mark some lush curly locks lol!
