Meet the Pettit family! Nicole is a photographer as well, and one of my trusty second shooters at some of my weddings 🙂 It’s been great to have her sweet face (and her sweet family’s faces) in front of my camera a couple times now! We captured these Chautauqua family photos on a sunny fall day, during beautiful golden hour. It was super busy…which is always my biggest complaint about Chautauqua Park. But super easy to clone all those people out of the background for these gorgeous photos! This was my first time photographing precious little Connor. He is a doll, and such a joy to photograph. You never know how little ones will do during photo sessions, so I am always grateful when it goes this wonderfully!
The Pettit family dressed in different variations of plaid tops, and that looked great. I always suggest that your outfits “go” without being too matchy. They did well. Connor’s little Adidas and suspenders stole the show though lol! How handsome is this little heartbreaker? Nicole and I have talked about getting our little guys together numerous times, but with busy schedules and then covid, it hasn’t ever happened. My son, Dominic, is about 16 or so months older than Connor. I am certain they would have a blast though! It was a bummer to not be able to photograph the Pettit family during 2020 though. Nicole was recovering from multiple hip surgeries. Poor thing! And then darn covid, as already mentioned. Fingers crossed for 2021!

This is definitely a favorite from their Chautauqua Park family photos! Connor is as happy as a clam throughout the shoot…which makes my job so much easier!
