The Foss Family | Chautauqua Family Pictures | Boulder Colorado Photographer

Oh how I love working with this sweet family every year! They are all so kind, gracious, and appreciative. Most importantly, they have fun together and they are naturals in front of the camera 🙂 The Foss family and my little family have been friends for years. Tasia’s older brother, and my husband are best friends. It’s always great seeing them…whether personally or professionally! For their 2019 fall mini session, we decided on capturing Chautauqua family pictures. It ended up being a gorgeous evening, with perfect light! It was super busy, and parking was a challenge, but really when isn’t Chautauqua Park a Boulder hotspot?!

I know that picking out family photo shoot outfits can be stressful. Let’s be real…usually on the mother! Tasia and I have chatted about this before. She, however, always does an amazing job with this! The Foss family’s outfits always compliment each other well, without being too “matchy”. I think the maroon color they wore popped so well against the golden fields and sunlight, and the greens and blues of the famous flatirons.

 

These two are such cuties, and they seem like the greatest of friends! How cute that Aria’s bow matches the plaid on Rylan’s shirt? Such a perfect detail, that takes the outfits to the next level 🙂

This is one of my favorites of their Chautauqua family pictures. I may have asked the kids to run around their parents, but it’s kind of realistic at a family session with young children lol!

Thanks so much Foss family! You guys are always so sweet, and incredibly cooperative during your family sessions. It’s really a pleasure working together. I so appreciate all of the support of my business over the years. Next on the blog, a senior session in Greeley. This one was unique because I almost never shoot in Greeley, and because it was a college senior session, and not a high school senior session! Malaika was a sweetheart, that wanted a session to celebrate her upcoming graduation from the University of Northern Colorado.
